Founded in 1949, St Patrick's National School is located in the country village of Whitechurch, approximately 6 miles from Cork City. The school has a long history and we are very proud particularly of our academic and sporting history. We hope you enjoy our website, which is designed to communicate and inform pupils,
parents and the wider school community.
Annual Recorder Recital took place on Friday February 10th 2011. Pupils from 3rd to 6th class took part. Many thanks to Betty Fitzgerald for all her help.

Congratulations to School Quiz Teams
Our school quiz teams have taken part in many quizes during the year. In the Credit Union quiz, we had four teams in two categories. After a challenging tie breaker, the under 12 team came 3rd. The under 13 category quiz teams took 1st and 6th place. We are busy preparing for the next round in Cork and the RDS Dublin. Earlier in the year, all teams preformed exceptionnally well in the Kerrypike quiz. On Thursday February 9th, the U13 team won the Lisgoold quiz and the U12 team took 3rd place. Well done to all pupils involved. (Liam Ring)

Dream Team 15 The Whitechurch team are the best that can be, with our captain Cathal wearing number 3. Fionn was wearing number 10, he ran around like one of Counihan’s men. Jake was wearing number 1, I swear he is like Steven Cluxton son.
Seán was wearing number 13, he is the best corner forward I have ever seen.
Ciarán was wearing number 6, he definitely ate his weetabix.
The team are the best I have ever seen, they are a dream team.
David was wearing number 9, I think he played really fine.
Eoin was wearing number 5, he was rushing around like he was in a bee hive.
Séamus was wearing number 4, his marker did not score.
Aidan was wearing number 8, he had his marker bate.
I was wearing number 2, I stuck to my man like super glue.
Paudie was wearing number 7, he’ll still play gaelic football when he’s gone to heaven.
Jason was wearing number 12, he got a lot of scores by himself.
Kevin was wearing number 11, he’s just like Paudie at number 7.
James was wearing number 15, he’s just like Sean at number 13.
Denis put some over the bar, he’s just like Kieran Donaghy the star.
