Carol Singing
Pupils from 4th and 5th class raised over €400 for our new school Carol singing in Blackpool Shopping Centre on December 21st.
Blessing of Crib and Turning on Christmas Tree Lights
On Friday December 9th 2011, the school community gathered together for the Blessing of the Crib Ceremony followed by Santa's arrival by fire brigade. Many thanks to everyone that helped and participated.

On Monday 14th March 2011 a local harpist visited the school and told the children about the history of the harp and played for them.
Music and drama form an integral part of our school curriculum. Pupils from 3rd to 6th learn the recorder. Our annual recorder concert takes place in February. Our school is also represented at the Christmas carol service in the local Church. During the school year pupils are given the opportunity to attend Cork Pops concert in the City Hall.
